本会成立于1989年10月，是由在广州地区的外资企业及其投资者、经营者等自愿组成的民间商会，是广州市工商联（广州市总商会）属下的会员自治管理的具有法人资格的社会团体。

商会的服务宗旨：发挥桥梁纽带作用，宣传政府政策，反映会员心声，维护会员合法权益；搭建平台，增进交流，促进合作、互利共赢；营建温馨、和谐的外商之家！为广州经济社会快速健康发展添砖加瓦。

商会的服务内容：每年通过举行年会、迎春茶话会、新春联谊会、庆祝广交会开幕宴会（每年两次）、投资政策宣讲会、参观考察、学习交流、体育竞赛、社会公益（救灾、扶贫、助学）等活动，为会员提供政策、商务信息及法律咨询等服务；与海关、检验检疫、工商、税务、外经、质监、劳动、环保等政府部门建立了日常联系机制，构筑政府与企业、企业与企业之间的沟通平台，发挥联系广泛及沟通协调优势，向各级政府反映会员诉求，为会员排忧解难、牵线搭桥。

商会会员来自五湖四海、各行各业，现已聚集了许多来自港澳台商界名流及美、英、德、丹麦等国的同仁，发展成为在粤、港、澳具有广泛影响力和知名度的综合性品牌商会。

这里名商荟萃，会员在驰骋商海的同时，积极参政议政，据不完全统计，商会领导成员中现有全国政协常委1人、全国政协委员2人、广东省政协常委1人、省级政协委员2人、广州市政协委员6人、广州市荣誉市民4人。

商会还聘请了部分市领导、政府机关领导及商界名流为名誉会长，聘请有关政府职能部门领导及社会知名人士担任顾问。

Brief Introduction

The Guangzhou Foreign Investment Enterprises Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit-making organization, directed by Guangzhou General Chamber of Commerce. Founded in 1989, it is one of the oldest and largest chambers of commerce in Guangzhou. At present, the Chamber has a membership of over 300, comprising association, company and individual members. Our members represent a wide spectrum of Hong Kong, Macau and international businesses.

Members' businesses cover a wide spectrum of commercial and industrial activities in the territory, including manufacturing, imports and exports, banking, insurance, real estates, building and construction, information technology, professional services, transport and communication, foods, retail and wholesale, catering and tourism, etc.

For the past 28 years, The Guangzhou Foreign Investment Enterprises Chamber of Commerce has grown together with Guangzhou and the business community. Our mission is to promote, represent and safeguard the interests of the business community in Guangzhou.
